Experience Good Friday with Pergolesi’s Stabat Mater

Join us this Good Friday for a profound musical journey as we present Pergolesi’s Stabat Mater, a masterpiece of sacred music deeply intertwined with the solemnity of this holy day.

Good Friday commemorates the Passion and crucifixion of Christ, a time for reflection and reverence. Pergolesi’s Stabat Mater, composed specifically for this occasion, captures the sorrow and beauty of Mary’s lament at the foot of the Cross.

Let the poignant melodies and emotional depth of this work enhance your contemplation and spiritual experience.

We invite you to join us for an evening of moving music and reflection together with the Columbus International Children’s Choir (CICC).

This collaboration aims to celebrate the spirit of the season and the transformative power of music. The Columbus International Children’s Choir will sing excerpts from Stabat Mater during the veneration of the cross, offering an unforgettable musical and spiritual experience for all.
