Immerse yourself in a world of festive enchantment at the annual German Village Lights Festival. With the magnificent St. Mary Catholic Church as our backdrop, locals and visitors are drawn together, united by the heartwarming charm of Christmas melodies.
Join us in this luminous tradition and light a candle, a symbol of unity, warmth, and hope. Let's bathe St. Mary's in the glow of thousands of candles, each one representing an invaluable member of our vibrant community. Because every light matters, and your light truly makes a difference.
Festivities Schedule:
4:00 PM Maennerchor, Damenchor, & Kinderchor Concert
6:00 Bell Choir Concert
6:30 PM St. Mary Choir Concert
7:30 PM InCommon Columbus A Cappella Choir Concert
8:15 PM Bells of St. Mary & Organ Music
Delight in the holiday spirit as the Maennerchor, Damenchor, and Kinderchor fill the air with classic Yuletide harmonies. InCommon Acappella, a Columbus based vocal group, will delight us with the sounds of the season with a choir 20 members strong. The St. Mary Choir will sing beloved carols of the season. A variety of talented groups from across Mid-Ohio will lend their voices to this magical event, each adding a unique touch to the evening's enchantment.
The event unfolds over five hours within the sacred warmth of St. Mary's Sanctuary, offering the perfect respite from winter's chill. Come in, warm up, and immerse yourself in the festive sounds of the human voice, Handbell Choirs, St. Mary’s Schuelke Organ, and many more surprises that truly capture the spirit of the season.
Entry to this captivating musical extravaganza is complimentary, though we graciously accept any Free Will Offerings.
